Jack Garaty

Jack was appointed to the Project Management Committee in 2002, at the commencement of Stage 2. He has been employed in various senior management positions with a major international mineral mining company, retiring in 1993 after 35 years with the organisation.

Since then, similar operating companies in Europe, the United Kingdom and Australia have engaged him as a Management Effectiveness Consultant.

Jack provides a valuable community perspective and project management experience to the committee. A long time resident of Lake Macquarie, he has a keen interest in matters effecting water quality.
